Korea's natural beauty is never far away. With @chloebunnie_, it reveals itself on mountain trails leading to panoramic peaks, along dramatic coastlines where the land meets the sea, and beside rivers that bring moments of calm to the heart of the city.
From the granite ridgelines of Bukhansan and Inwangsan to the vast mountain landscapes of Deogyusan and the rugged beauty of Korea's southern coastline, every journey offers a different perspective. These are the places that invite you to slow down, look further and reconnect with the world around you, helping you find your endless fascination - one summit, shoreline and scenic view at a time.

1. Take in the city views from Inwangsan Mountain

If you're looking for one of the best views of Seoul, I highly recommend hiking Inwangsan Mountain. It's located right in the heart of the city, is very accessible, and the round trip only takes around two hours, making it perfect for beginners. You follow sections of Seoul's historic fortress wall and are rewarded with incredible panoramic views over the city. What I loved most was being surrounded by nature while looking out over the city. It felt like seeing Seoul from a completely different perspective. If you can, time your hike for sunset. Watching the city light up as you make your way back down is such a special experience.

2. Hike Deogyusan Mountain

Deogyusan is best known as a ski destination in winter, but it's also a beautiful mountain to hike. There are several hiking routes to choose from, or you can take the cable car if you'd prefer a more relaxed experience. When I reached the top, I was stunned by panoramic views of mountains stretching in every direction. It was one of those moments that made me stop and really appreciate how beautiful of a country Korea is. If you're looking to experience Korea's natural beauty, you need to experience Deogyusan Mountain.

3. Challenge yourself at Baegundae Peak, Bukhansan National Park

For a challenge, hike to Baegundae Peak, the highest point in Seoul. The trail can be steep in sections, with plenty of stairs and rocky terrain, but that's what made it so rewarding. It pushed me outside my comfort zone and reminded me how much I enjoy challenging myself outdoors. Reaching the summit and seeing the mountains surrounding Seoul was an unforgettable experience, and it really put into perspective just how mountainous Korea is.

I love Korea because it inspires me to stay curious. Every visit encourages me to explore somewhere new, try something different, and step outside my comfort zone!
